The number of properties Sold through HSPC in 2017 so far is up on same period last year by 7%; a healthy start to the Highlands property market year. Insertions have been slow in March however and the overall total inserted being down on same period as last year by 11% - this trends is reflected across the whole property market in the Highlands.
With an increase in the number of properties being sold and less coming to the market, the average selling price achieved by HSPC member firms has been increasing; £ 187,101 compared with £168, 364 during the same period last year.
Sarah Woodcock, Manager at HSPC said “ We are pleased to see an increase in the number of sales HSPC solicitor firms have made in 2017 – it seems like an ideal time to launch a property for sale as there is currently less for buyers to choose from than in the previous few years. We are also seeing remarkable levels of activity on hspc.co.uk with continually increasing numbers of unique viewers logging on to hspc.co.uk, last month we saw an 11% increase with numbers up to 70 000."
