Ullapool is a town (population approx 1,500) on the shore of Loch Broom in a scenic location on the west coast of the Ross and Cromarty area. Close to beautiful coastal and mountainous scenery, the town is popular with tourists and offers a range of outdoor activities nearby. It is also an important port with a ferry link to The Isle of Lewis. The town also boasts a variety of pubs and restaurants. Inverness is roughly 1 hour 10 minutes drive south (via the A835).
