Latheronwheel is a small village in Caithness, close to the junction between the A9 and the A99. The village is at the mouth of an attractive wide valley, originally a planned village started in 1835. Today the Village is home to the four star Craiglea holiday complex that includes a swimming pool. Wick is roughly 20 minutes drive north (via the A99), Thurso is roughly 25 minutes drive north (via the A9).
